This two-story home was reimagined and updated for a lovely young family. They yearned for relaxing comfort and a space to unwind in casual style in a space for entertaining. We began with artwork which served as the inspiration for the overall soothing color palette. Adding natural elements, such as the petrified wood side table and console further adds to the relaxing feel. Asymmetric lighting keeps the layout interesting and balanced at the same time. Although we designed their full home, they tell us this ‘formal’ informal living space is where they happily spend the most of their time.
